Rhenus Freight Logistics (RFL) and the Greek company Intertrans have recently signed a collaboration agreement for better coverage in the Greek market, by bringing itself closer to its Greek customers.
In response to the strong growth in the Greek transport market, Rhenus Freight Logistics is launching a service which allies quality with excellence by using the Intertrans' experience and perfect knowledge of the local market.
Besides, Rhenus has just inaugurated a new, regular service with weekly departures between France and Greece with guaranteed transit durations of 4-5 days, from its international hubs in Paris and Lyon to Athens and Thessaloniki. This new service strengthens Rhenus' position and its cooperation with Intertrans is an effective and reliable alternative for our Greek customer base.
Intertrans are a solid enterprise with over thirty years' experience in the transport and logistical sector, which has agencies located in Piraeus (Athens) and Thessaloniki, two of the main industrial centres in Greece. It also offers complete distribution coverage of the entire territory of Greece, including the islands.
Using a fleet made up of over fifty trucks equipped with geo-location and traceability of goods, Intertrans can thus offer a complete range of services in the framework of this weekly export connection between France and Greece, notably groupage, with complete loads, as well as ADR merchandise, for the sectors of household appliances, cosmetics and perfumes, the chemical industry, textiles and leather or even for the vehicle industry.
